ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Wednesday acquired a second-round pick (37th overall) and a third-round pick (68th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft from the San Francisco 49ers, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced. In exchange, Denver sends San Francisco the 22nd overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
Denver now owns nine selections in the 2006 NFL Draft, including seven picks in the first four rounds. The club will select once in the first round (15th overall), twice in the second round (37th and 61st overall), once in the third round (68th overall), three times in the fourth round (119th, 126th and 130th overall), once in the fifth round (161st overall) and once in the sixth round (198th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft.
