ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Monday waived safety Brandon Browner, linebacker Josh Buhl, punter Tyler Fredrickson, defensive end George Gause and punter Jeff Williams, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.
Browner spent his rookie year with Denver on its reserve/injured list in 2005 while Buhl and Gause competed on the Broncos' practice squad last season. Williams joined the Broncos on May 17 as an undrafted free agent from Adams State College (Alamosa, Colo.), and Fredrickson was signed by Denver to a future contract on Jan. 3.
