the tools to be a successful quarterback and is getting used to the
NFL. He will have every chance to open the season as the No. 2
quarterback, although he's currently third behind Bradlee Van Pelt.
--TE Tony Scheffler has spent almost the entire camp at the second
tight end spot. He has made a very quick transition to the NFL.
--WR Brandon Marshall is fourth on the depth chart but could move up
to third. Third receiver Darius Watts has struggled with dropped passes
again. Marshall is also working at punt and kickoff return.

get extra reps as long as Gerard Warren is out with an injury.
--G Chris Kuper is working with the second team. He is athletic, and
impressive for a rookie.

a couple of days. He started camp on the second team but was slipping
down the depth chart.
--RB Mike Bell has been named the starting running back, beating out veterans Ron Dayne and Tatum Bell. He's also been practicing punt and kickoff returns.
