On who may be on the bubble when it comes to making the 53 man squad
"That is what we are doing now and that is what camp is all about, people competing for the job. Everybody is on the bubble except for a few. I wouldn't say Champ (Bailey) is on the bubble, would you?"

On how much improvement he would like to see out of the defensive line
"We'll look at this as possibly happening during the season. We will take a look at how people play, not only the type of effort, but also how they play within the system. Everybody has been evaluated."

On DL Elvis Dumervil
"Dumervil is going to play some (defensive) end this weekend. He played inside last week. We are kind of switching things around a little bit. He is a very sharp kid, he knows a number of positions. We will get a chance to see what he does this weekend at defensive end, a very similar position to which he played in college."

On the little girl David Terrell accidentally ran into on a fade route in the end-zone
"Allison (Sheehan) took a hit and got right up, came back and broke our team down. She did a heck of a job. She is going to have dinner with us. It was really scary looking at David Terrell run a fade route over there in the end-zone and just kind of swept her off her feet. We thought she might be hurt but it looks like she is alright. She came and broke our team down and it was kind of special and the team appreciated it."

On if she has a contract in her future
"She might own the team here shortly."

On how long he thinks RB Ron Dayne will be out
"I think if it was a regular season game, he could play. We are a little tentative on putting him in there too early. He will be ready to go against Houston. He has turf toe and it is sore, and if you can't go then you can't go. He can't do anything about that except go and get treatment and get ready to go next week."

On how special teams is fairing
"You never know until the game actually starts and we get guys competing for positions. That is what's nice; we have three games left to evaluate them."
