The Denver Broncos announced today that tickets for individual games will go on sale through Ticketmaster beginning Saturday, August 3, 2002, at 10 a.m. MDT.

DENVER, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos announced today that tickets for individual games will go on sale through Ticketmaster beginning Saturday, August 3, 2002, at 10 a.m. MDT.

Included in the available tickets are 2,000 tickets that will be sold at half of the normal face value. The sale of the 2,000 half-price tickets is in accordance with the Legislation and operating agreement with the Metropolitan Football Stadium District.

The Broncos and the MFSD have implemented the following procedures for the purchase of the half-price tickets:

  • There will be a maximum limit of four tickets per person.
  • Multiple game purchases will not be allowed.
  • Prevention of multiple game purchases will be verified through Ticketmaster through name and credit card numbers.
  • The tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone system or through the internet.
  • All sales are final and there are no exchanges, cancellations or refunds.
  • All tickets will be placed at will call and available for pick up by the buyer only and on game day only.
    • Will Call will open two hours prior to game time.
    • No will call name changes will be allowed.
    • A valid photo ID will be required to pick up the tickets by the buyer (only).
    • After picking up the tickets at will call, the buyer must go directly into the stadium.

"We have consulted with Ticketmaster, the Metropolitan Football Stadium District and other teams to develop a system that implements the spirit of the Legislation. Most of the Broncos tickets are sold on a season ticket basis and fan interest is extremely high for single game tickets," said Joe Ellis, Executive Vice President of Business Operations.

"By restricting the access of tickets to the buyer and available only on game day means the tickets are in the hands of those who intend to actually attend the game. As in the past when Broncos single game tickets were made available, there is a wide assortment of prices, location and number of seats together. There are single tickets at every price, but most of the tickets together will be pairs of tickets located in the upper level," said Rick Nichols, Vice President of Ticket Operations and Business Development.

Ticket prices and the appropriate half-price amount are as follows:

Field $68 $34
Field $65 $32.50
Field/Plaza $50 $25
Reserved Seats on Level 3 $55 $27.50
Upper Level $48 $24
Upper Level $46 $23
Upper Level $30 $15
