Broncos waive WR Adams, add center Scukanec
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos Wednesday waived wide receiver Charlie Adams from the practice squad, and replaced him with center Jason Scukanec. Scukanec (pronounced ìsoo-CAN-ikî) is a rookie free agent from Brigham Young and was in Denver's training camp before being released on Aug. 26. He played in 48 games (26 starts) for the Cougars and became a unanimous All-Mountain West Conference first-team pick in 2001.
