Broncos add offensive lineman Ryan Harris

Denver adds offensive tackle Ryan Harris as Day One of the 2007 NFL Draft comes to a close.

Ryan Harris - Notre Dame
Offensive Tackle | Senior | 6-5 305lbs 40-time 5.09

Strengths: Credited as one of the best offensive tackles in all of college football which gave him the ranking of the 6th best offensive tackle in the country. Very fluid in his hips and uses his arms extremely well. His quickness and strength are often accredited to his off the field training. His stamina makes for an outstanding combination when dealing with big end rushers. Harris is a true four year starter that carries a lot of experience playing with the elite teams of his conference. He has all the intangibles of an all pro with the intelligence of a veteran.

Weakness: His style of play is more suited for zone blocking schemes and will distract teams that don't run the west coast offense. Motor tends to run out in the fourth quarter and has been known to take plays off. Needs to work on fundamentals and is still a raw talent. Harris needs an offensive minded coach who can work out his kinks and be patience with his progression.
