ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-The Denver Broncos Tuesday waived C Jason Scukanec from the team's practice squad and signed G Chris Watton in his place.
Watton (6-3, 305 lbs.) spent this past training camp with the Green Bay Packers before being released. In his first year out of Baylor, Watton originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2000, but was released prior to training camp. The Baltimore Ravens then waived him in the final cutdown of 2001 before signing with the Packers on Jan. 17, 2002.
