DE Tim Crowder is bigger than first-round pick Jarvis Moss, and might be more immediately ready to contribute as an every-down end. He will get every chance to earn playing time.
OT Ryan Harris, like most offensive linemen in Denver's offense, will need some time to learn. But he is smart, and because the Broncos have decent depth at tackle there isn't a pressing need to get him in the lineup.
DT Marcus Thomas won't have too
much pressure on him, because since he was drafted the Broncos added
veterans Sam Adams and Jimmy Kennedy. But the Broncos want to see some
progress so he can contribute in the rotation this season.
