Former Denver Broncos cornerback Dre Bly is headed to the Bay, signing a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Bly, who was often criticized by fans and the media during the 2008 season, took the high road with Lindsey Jones of the Denver Post, thanking Mike Shanahan, the team and city for everything they had done.
"I want to thank Denver for my time there, I know it wasn't pretty as far as what we did as a team. But I want to thank them for accepting me."
