ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Thursday released linebackers Boss Bailey and Louis Green along with safety Herana-Daze Jones, it was announced. The club also waived running back Kestahn Moore and cornerback Rashod Moulton.
Bailey is a seventh-year linebacker who joined the Broncos as an unrestricted free agent on March 6, 2008. He started six games for the club last season, totaling 44 tackles (33 solo) and one fumble recovery.
Green is a sixth-year linebacker who played 64 games with Denver since signing with the team on Jan. 7, 2003. He registered 36 special-teams tackles and seven defensive stops during his Broncos career.
Jones is a fourth-year safety who spent the final month of the 2008 season on the Broncos' roster after joining the club on Dec. 3. He saw time in the Broncos' final two games last season and had two tackles on special teams.
Moore is a rookie running back from the University of Florida whom the Broncos signed as a college free agent on April 27. Moulton is a first-year cornerback who spent the majority of the 2008 season on Denver's practice squad after he was signed to that unit on Oct. 27.
