It's the only time during a year that the entire league assembles. Assistants usually don't go to owners meetings. Scouts don't head to the Super Bowl. Not all assistants make it to the Senior Bowl. But virtually everyone in football operations make it to Indianapolis in late February to see the college eligible players.

Feb. 18, 2003 - In Rick Upchurch's first NFL game in 1975 he established a Denver Broncos franchise record. In a 37-33 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, Upchurch amassed 284 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 13 yards, had 153 receiving, and gained 113 on returns. Denver took notice of their new rookie from the University of Minnesota and soon the rest of the league would as well.
