McCaffrey, Davis Agree to Re-Structured Contracts - DenverBroncos.com - Andrew Mason
Feb. 27, 2003 - Two men who were a significant part of the Broncos' back-to-back championships in 1997 and 1998 will continue to be a part of the franchise's quest to make it to the Super Bowl for the fourth consecutive decade. Running back Terrell Davis and wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, both of whom joined the franchise during Head Coach Mike Shanahan's first offseason on the job in 1995, agreed to renegotiated contracts this week in advance of the free-agency period, which begins at midnight EST on Friday. Davis has officially signed his new deal. McCaffrey and the Broncos have agreed to terms on a restructuring.
