Think it could happen tbh...they might just be caught off guard, coming off an AFCCG loss and thinking they gonna roll this season...
Ramon foster, former guard for many years and who had a radio show at nakama on the fan, pretty good friend of Ben's, recently said he was seriously contemplating retirement. He's battered bruised, rich and just settling into being a family man. Not saying he's gonna bomb, but I don't think we're gonna get the big Ben of old. If this D can get at him and get him on the ground early, i think a raucous crowd will help take over the game.
Don't they say if you start think about retirement, then do it?
This of course, is all predicated on this team being a bit better than last year. Health will help, but experience still lacking. If this game was in Pitt, no way the browns could do that with such a young squad.
But I think the deck could be stacked in our favor if these players all take a step forward. If everyone's play if slightly elevated, good things will happen. Half step here, pump fake there, think the youth may finally put a stamp on their presence in this league.
I live in Pitt, actually grew up just north of here. They're not unbeatable, but they've got a hell of a receiving corps. Put Ben on the ground early, I can't see them scoring 14 pts.
