Ross Ventrone signed to active roster again

The New England Patriots have promoted safety Ross Ventrone from the practice squad to the active roster, again. Ventrone has been involved in at least 17 transactions this year with the Patriots, being shifted on and off the roster. Ventrone, 25, has played in six games

Ventrone, 5-8, 190 pounds, was originally signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Villanova on April 29, 2010. He spent the majority of his rookie season in 2010 on the New England practice squad.
