NFLPA Purchases NFL Quarterback Club

TheInsiders.com reports exclusively today that the NFL Players Association has acquired the NFL Quarterback Club. Both organizations have been instrumental in routing over a quarter-billion in royalties to players since 1990. Here are Bernie's comments about the news...

Today, the NFL Players Association bought the NFL Quarterback Club from myself and twelve other quarterbacks.

I started the Quarterback Club twelve years ago. We passed out well over $60 million to over sixty players. Plus, the union start paying players and passed out over $200 million. The NFL Quarterback Club was part of getting NFL players more than a quarter of a billion in royalty payments after 1990. Before 1990, players received zero.
