NFL Week 9 Picks and Predictions

It is Week 9 of the NFL season, man it has flown by huh? The Cleveland Browns are struggling and very few teams are considered "good" at this point in time. Our staff is back with their picks and predictions, surprisingly no one picked the Browns tonight.

Browns Vs. Bengals Score
Jared The Browns get destroyed. The Bengals have something to prove in their first primetime game of the season and makeup for last year's debacle. The Browns getting Duke more involved and throwing the kitchen sink at the Bengals is my expectations. Could be fun, unlikely though. 38 - 7 CIN
Andrea Johnny Manziel cannot command an offense and score enough points to match what the Bengals can do. Meanwhile that Bengals offense, featuring excellent running backs and receivers and a corrner-turning Andy Dalton cannot be held back by a weak Browns defense. Cleveland's only hope is that the Bengals struggle yet again in primetime contests, which doesn't seem like the case on Thursday night. 33-17 CIN
Barry As exciting as it is to see if Johnny Manziel has improved over last year, the quarterback has been prone to turnovers and mistakes which - when combined with the Browns comatose running game - doesn't bode well against an undefeated Super Bowl contender in Cincinnati. I see the Bengals having an advantage in everything other than special teams, and dominating the Browns in their national appearance on Thursday Night Football. 30 - 10 CIN
Fred The Browns are going to missing six players this week and they already have their backs up agaisnt the wall needing to win the two games before the bye to have any chance to save their season. I think they will play hard, but in the end will not be able to win the game, despite the return of Johnny Football. 27-16 CIN
Hayden This game will have little to do with Johnny Manziel and a lot to do with the incredible amount of injuries on defense that the Browns have endured this season. Sure, it doesn't help Manziel to be without Andrew Hawkins and Brian Hartline, but it will be far more destructive to the defense to be without Joe Haden, Donte Whitner, Jordan Poyer and others. Andy Dalton and the Bengals offense will have a field day, while Manziel seems more prepared than ever. He might be prepared, but he'll still be mediocre. I can see this one getting ugly on defense, especially after the dominant display by the Browns last season. 48-17 CIN
Lane 24-20 CIN
Rick I can't help but think that the Bengals will be sharp and focused after what the Browns did to them on national tv last season. Depleted secondary for Browns spells disaster. 34-10 CIN
