The Cleveland Browns are still making moves as we wait for word of draftees signing contracts.
The team today re-signed long snapper Bryan Pittman, the semi-pro football player who was with the team earlier in the year in that capacity. In addition, the team waived WR Demetrius Breedlove, who failed to make an impact in NFL Europe. The team's stated reason for the move was that Breedlove failed his physical.
There were some other moves as well, as players were moved to the ineligible list. Fullback Ben Miller, who owes the Air Force some additional time was moved to the Non-Football Injury list, as was fullback R.J. Bowers and offensive tackle Chuck Klabo. The team hasn't yet made additional information available on why these players were moved.
In another, somewhat expected, move, the Browns have put Frisman Jackson on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list due to the injury he suffered earlier this year. Jackson still feels that he will be able to return this season, and placing him onto the PUP list will give him the ability to return.
More news as we get it....
