Joel Bitonio is back in the starting lineup; Dwayne Bowe inactive

After a two week absence with an ankle injury, Joel Bitonio is back in the starting lineup at left guard. Meanwhile, Dwayne Bowe is inactive again in favor of just signed Darius Jennings

CLEVELAND—After a two week hiatus with an ankle injury, Joel Bitonio is back in the starting lineup.

Bitonio injured his ankle against the Bengals on Nov. 5 and was replaced by first-round draft pick Cameron Erving for the past two games. Erving has struggled in his two starts, despite the praise of the coaching staff and is back to the bench.

Cornerbacks Joe Haden and Justin Gilbert are inactive with concussions as are wide receivers Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel.

Rookie Charles Gaines will start at cornerback in Haden's place.

Rookie Darius Jennings was signed off the practice squad and Terrelle Pryor was signed earlier this week when Josh McCown was placed on injured reserve with a broken clavicle. Jennings is active, while Pryor is inactive.

Also, Dwayne Bowe is inactive for the seventh time this season. He has three catches on the season, all against the Bengals in the first meeting.

Haden has missed four-straight games and six of the last seven games due to the concussion. Hawkins has missed the last two games and four of the past five games with a concussion, as well. Mike Pettine alluded to the fact that there is consideration of shutting both Haden and Hawkins down for the season. Gabriel is missing his second-straight game.

Defensive lineman Randy Starks was active after missing last week's game with a knee injury.

Running back Glenn Winston was also inactive.
