With the official kickoff to free agency signings officially set to begin with the NFL’s new year commencing at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, news has already been leaking out the destinations of several soon-to-be free agents.

Travis Benjamin--who was believed to be the closest Browns free agent to staying with the team--is set to sign with the San Diego Chargers according to NFL Network’s Rand Getlin. The Falcons and the Texans were also in pursuit of Benjamin.

The Browns were believed to have their eyes on Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones, whom Hue Jackson coached in Cincinnati.
