Browns lose last free agent in Craig Robertson

The Browns lost their sixth and final free agent from last year when linebacker Craig Robertson agreed to a contract with the New Orleans Saints

It's a clean sweep.

The Browns entered free agency with six unrestricted free agents and the last, linebacker Craig Robertson signed with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday.

Most thought despite losing five free agents in Alex Mack, Mitchell Schwartz, Tashaun Gipson, Travis Benjamin and Johnson Bademosi, the team would be able to retain Robertson.

New Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton called Robertson his  "ace in the hole" when he was in the same role as coordinator in 2013.

Robertson, 28, was undrafted from North Texas State and started 37 games over the last four seasons, splitting time with Christian Kirksey last season. Kirksey and newly signed linebacker Demario Davis are expected to start on the inside in place of Karlos Dansby and Robertson in 2016.
