CLEVELAND, OHIO-- There seems to be a reason that Josh Gordon has yet to be reinstated by the NFL.
According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, that reason may be because Gordon, who suspended for the 2015 season after testing positive for alcohol and applied for reinstatement in January, failed a drug test last month.
Gordon, per Garafolo, took this latest drug test in March and tested positive for "marijuana and dilute," but the marijuana was below the positive threshold. The dilute, however, allowed the test to be deemed positive.
Even if the result of the positive test remains, Gordon may not be subject to another season-long suspension, Garafolo said.
After former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel told TMZ that he was living with Broncos LB Vonn Miller, sources told ESPN that Manziel was actually living with Gordon.
All of this will be considered by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who has yet to rule on Gordon's reinstatement request.
