BEREA, OHIO-- The Browns have officially selected their fifth pass catcher of the 2016 NFL Draft.
With the No. 172 overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Browns picked Colorado State WR Rashard Higgins.
Higgins, nicknamed 'Hollywood', stands at 6'1, 196 pounds and ran a 4.6 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft.
Over his four years at Colorado State, Higgins became the school's all-time leader in receptions (239), receiving yards (3,649) and receiving touchdowns (31).
Though his 2015 season was productive-- 75 catches for 1,062 yards and 8 touchdowns-- his 2014 season was far more so.
Higgins earned consensus All-American honors in 2014, the receiver led the nation with 1,750 yards through the air and also grabbed 17 touchdowns.
Prior to Higgins, the Browns drafted four pass catchers in the 2016 NFL Draft, including WR Jordan Payton from UCLA, TE Seth DeValve from Princeton, WR Ricardo Louis from Auburn and WR Corey Coleman from Baylor.
