The accolades continue for Browns left tackle Joe Thomas, who was named the 23rd best player on the NFL Network's list of the top 100 NFL players.
"Joe Thomas is the best tackle in the game right now,'' former teammate Alex Mack said in a video on NFL Network.
Thomas has not missed an offensive snap (8,959) in his nine-year career, which have resulted in a Pro Bowl in each season.
"He's always been to the Pro Bowl because he's that dominant of a player,'' Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap said. "He can dance with the best of them. It doesn't matter how fast guys come off the edge, he has the ability to move with them. If you see one guy that has not changed, that's that left tackle right there. And we have to play him twice a year.''
Thomas was ranked 25th last season. Meanwhile, Gary Barnidge cracked the top 100 for the first time after his breakout season with the Browns where he earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl.
Barnidge caught 79 passes for 1,043 yards, including nine touchdowns tying a franchise record for tight ends with Hall of Fame tight end Ozzie Newsome.
