Myles Garrett Confirms Athletic Expectations

The expectation was that Myles Garrett would show off at the NFL Combine. He didn't disappoint.

6'4", 272 pounds, 35.5" arms, 10.25" hand, 4.64 40, 1.69 10, 33 bench. 41" vert,

As expected, Myles Garrett proved himself as a physical marvel at the NFL Combine.

While not surprising, it is important to put some of it into perspective before discussing what it could mean for the Cleveland Browns with the #1 overall pick.

(To be honest, I'm still struggling grasping how much of a physical freak he is after seeing him in person and watching him on film.)

In the documented history of the NFL Combine, Garrett has longer arms (by 2 inches) and bigger hands (by an inch) than most defensive ends.

In fact:

(I am leaving the Combine today and we are not expecting 3-cone and shuttle drill data for at least 24 hours.)

So, with all that information, Garrett is a physical stud and he seems to have put any questions about whether he should be the #1 pick to bed.

Whether the Browns are the ones to make that pick is still up in the air.

If they do, Garrett's film, character and measureables all fit with what the Browns desire. He not only produced on the field but the above-listed information proves that he has the body to dominate at the next level.

If they do not take Garret, the Browns are only in position to trade down and get the huge haul that a player of Garrett's talents deserve. Garrett's Combine proved that he is head and shoulders, and maybe more. If the Browns are locked into a QB at the top, a trade down within the Top 5-10 could rack in a huge haul.

Myles Garrett proved that all the hype was real this week at the NFL Combine. He proved that, barring something crazy, he will be the #1 overall pick.

Will the Cleveland Browns take the once and a decade physical specimen and make their fans giddy with excitement?

Or will the Cleveland Browns take advantage of this once and a decade physical specimen and add more picks in this very deep and very talented Draft?

Either way, Myles Garrett is The Man of the NFL Draft.

What about Garrett's NFL Combine impressed you the most?
