Dennis Northcutt will be back in the lineup Sunday when the Browns host the Chargers.
The second-year wide receiver missed the first three games of the season after re-injuring his collar bone in the preseason finale at Carolina.
While Northcutt said he is "full-go" this week, he will have to wear what he jokingly called "bullet-proof shoulder pads."
"Seriously, the pads are pretty hard," said Northcutt. "They have a metal plat ... If I get hurt with those on, then it just wasn't meant to be ... I've practiced in the pads for a while, and I'm comfortable with them."
Northcutt said he is eager to get back into the action, especially after missing out on the fun of last week's victory over the Jaguars. He sat alone at his home on Sunday watching the 23-14 win on television.
"That was hard, not being able to be a part of it all," said Northcutt. "I can't wait to get back in and contribute ... I ended up playing dominoes at halftime because I knew what was going on in the locker room ... I needed to get my mind off of it."
Running back James Jackson suffered bruised ribs in the second quarter of last week's game. He continues to receive treatment, but should be ready to go Sunday.
