UPDATE 4:30PM: A reporter from Tampa Bay appearing on the Kenny Roda program on WKNR radio told the host that the Tampa Bay Bucs are denying the report that appeared in the Gilroy Dispatch. The writer of the story has backed off the story a little relative to the dollar amounts. At the same time, though, Don Banks of CNN/SI is reporting that Garcia is "poised" to become a Buc, and that the Browns are not feeling that they will land him. As usual, we offer our advice to not assume any particular outcome on this news story until a name is inked on a contract.
FIRST REPORT 2:30PM: Thanks to sharp-eyed dawgs surfing the 'net, we've become aware of an article written for a California newspaper which claims that QB Jeff Garcia will spurn an offer from Cleveland to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
