Browns Grab an OT in Round Six

The Browns got a bit deeper on the offensive line on Sunday as they finally drafted an offensive tackle: Stanford LT Kirk Chambers. A steady starter for The Cardinal, Chambers projects well to a backup tackle in the NFL.

After passing up several opportunities to draft several potential second-day offensive tackle bargains (e.g., Nat Dorsey, Kelly Butler), the Browns finally took the plunge this afternoon by picking Stanford LT Kirk Chambers.

Chambers is a steady, workmanlike offensive tackle who has started for four years in the Pac-10. The Browns new OT also brings maturity to the rookie class, as he is 25 years old
