Bio: Played in a single game as a senior, suffering a stress fracture in his lower leg and sidelined the rest of the year. Started fourteen games as a junior and finished with 69/4/3.
Positives: Explosive pass defending safety with solid cover skills. Quick footed, instinctive and displays an explosive break on the pass. Instinctive and adds ball skills into the equation. Quick filling the gaps in run defense and a hard worker.
Negatives: Does more knock down tackling than squaring into ball carriers. Puts his head down and misses tackles.
Analysis: Prior to the leg injury which forced him to the sideline last season, Curry was a highly rated safety and a prospect looked upon as a complete defender. The fact he had only one productive season in college will be questioned by but should eventually develop into a solid free safety at the next level.
