GAME SUMMARY (end of first half)

Solid offense line play has allowed the Browns offense to

The Browns have ridden an excellent first half by Trent Dilfer and RB Reuben Droughns to a 10-7 halftime lead against the Green Bay Packers. Dilfer finished the first half with a passing rating of 118, on 13-of-17 passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. Reuben Droughns has also been effective, gaining 43 yards on the ground and another 17 on pass receptions. Dennis Northcutt and Steve Heiden also have three first-half catches.

Other than what appeared to be a blown coverage leading to a 42-yard touchdown run by Donald Driver, the Browns defense has been opportunistic in limiting the Packers to seven points. Daylon McCutcheon had a key interception as well as two passes defensed to keep Brett Favre in check through the air. Gary Baxter has also had some good coverages. Andra Davis has also been very active, with ten tackles (seven solo, three assists) in the first half.
