Have You Seen a Killer?

Bernie's Insiders visitors will remember our recent stories on the brutal slaying of Barbara Kriewald, proprietor of Sidelines Bar and Grille in Atlanta. The Atlanta Browns Backers, who spend their football Sundays at Sidelines, continue their efforts to help police and the victim's family. Here's an update on the story.

Atlanta police continue their hunt for the murderer of Barbara Kriewald, an expectant mother with two young sons and a friend of the Atlanta Browns Backers. Mike Kirby, who was working with Kriewald at the time, was also shot. Kirby did not perish but is presently paralyzed from the waist down. Kriewald's unborn child also died in the attack.

In addition to the efforts of police, the case has been featured on America's Most Wanted, which showed considerable excepts from surveillance tape and dramatized the brutal and senseless attack. Friends of Barbara Kriewald, a non-profit group, is also offering a $25,000 reward for the successful arrest and conviction of the killer.

The only positive outcome of this tragic event would be the capture, conviction and punishment of this worthless scumbag. Any individual with information regarding this attack is urged to contact the Fulton County Police at (404) 699-4210.
