Thursday Injury Update

Tonight, we begin another feature requested by our sponsors over the last few months. Here, in one spot, is the latest up-to-the-minute information we have on the Browns injuries, including links to a new injury terminology page.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

PROBABLE (75% chance of playing)

No players listed as doubtful

QUESTIONABLE (50% chance of playing)

  • DB Leigh Bodden - Is listed as having a strained groin. Practiced on partially Wednesday and more fully on Thursday. Bodden has said that he intends to play.
     
  • FB Corey McIntyre - Sat out practice on Wednesday/Thursday due to a hamstring injury suffered against the Packers.
     
  • DT Orpheus Roye - Has some swelling on his knee (hyperextended) and has been sitting out of practice. Roye was listed with a similar injury and played last week. Crennel may allow Roye to play even if he doesn't participate in practice. Nick Eason will replace Roye in the event he's unable to play.
     
  • TE Aaron Shea - Did some limited practicing in pads on Wednesday and practiced more extensively on Thursday. Shea has been out due to a strained pectoral muscle suffered during the exhibition game against the Bears (9/1).
     
  • RB Lee Suggs - Has a high ankle sprain that he suffered during training camp (8/18). Suggs has been practicing with few limitations and has told reporters that he is ready to play. Suggs practiced with the team again on Thursday. 
     
  • LB Mason Unck - Sat out practice on both Wednesday and Thursday due to a groin injury suffered against the Packers.

DOUBTFUL (25% chance of playing)

No players listed as doubtful

OUT

  • WR Joshua Cribbs - Cribbs sprained his knee (MCL) against during special teams coverage against the Cincinnati Bengals. An MRI indicated ligament damage. While he is officially week-to-week, Cribbs is unlikely to return until the Browns play the Chicago Bears on 10/9 at the earliest. Has not practiced this week.
     
  • LB Matt Stewart - Sprained his knee (MCL) against early in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. An MRI indicated ligament damage. While he is officially week-to-week, Stewart is unlikely to return until the Browns play the Chicago Bears on 10/9 at the earliest. Has not practiced this week.
