Big East Bonanza

The Browns hang out in the Big East Conference, selecting WR Andre Davis from Virginia Tech with their second round pick. Davis is a big-play WR with blazing speed and a possible punt return answer for the Browns in 2002.

A popular chant at presidential political rallies is "4 more years!" Something tells me Browns fans will be saying "no mas!". For the fourth year in a row, the Browns looked to the wide receiver position in the second round, selecting Andre Davis from Virginia Tech. Davis was highly touted last year and nearly entered the draft with teammate Michael Vick, but eventually returned to Blacksburg. This also marks Butch Davis' second offensive selection in the draft, sticking to his familiar Big East Conference.

According to ESPN, Davis is a big, fast receiver with tremendous ability after the catch. He's a physical receiever who will rarely go down on first contact On the downside, he has had trouble in the past with concentration and doesn't have the softest hands. He has enormous potential, but several areas still need work.

While it may look like it, this really is Andre's bio for this year and not just a copy and paste of Quincy Morgan's from last season.
