Browns Roster Cuts Contain Surprises

Safety Justin Hamilton was among the players waived by the Browns today as they made draconian cuts to get to the NFL-mandated 53-man roster. While some of the players are likely to return via the practice squad or free agency, some of the names are surprises.

The Cleveland Browns have made roster cuts needed to reduce their roster to 53 players in advance of today's deadline. The Browns can bring as many as eight of these players back to the club via the practice squad tomorrow.
