Steinbach to Start Vs. Steelers

The Browns LG will fight through a back injury to play in the team's big game t against Pittsburgh

As he promised, Browns LG Eric Steinbach will start against the Pittburgh Steelers despite a back injury that has nagged him all week.

Ryan Tucker will fill in for Seth McKinney at RG. McKinney was placed on the Browns injured reserve list on Saturday, and is lost for the season.

Give the situation with Steinbach, the decision to start Tucker makes a lot of sense. Lennie Friedman was also a candidate to start at RG, but putting Tucker in the starting lineup will give the Browns flexibility should Steinbach need relief during the course of the game.

Friedman is one of the Browns most versatile offensive linemen, as he is able to fill in at both guard positions as well as center.

Also inactive for the Browns will be LB D'Qwell Jackson, CB Kenny Wright, CB Ricardo Coclough, RB Jerome Harrison, WR Travis Wilson, DT Louis Leonard and Ken Dorsey, who will be the third quarterback.

Inactive for the Steelers will be usual starters FB Dan Kreider and S Ryan Clark. Also inactive are Trai Essex, Willie Reid, Gary Russell, Jerame Tuman, and Brian St. Pierre (third QB).
