Each week, like we've done since 1999, we ask folks to send us three nominations for Bernie's Insiders gameballs as well as thee nominations for the team goat. We add up all the nominations and post them each week, and also keep track of the votes throughout the year. Gameball and Goats nominations can be sent to us via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or via replying to a post in the Watercooler.

Tim Couch--There is no reason that needs to be explained to anyone who watched this game. When he has time, he gets the job done. And just think, if all those drops were caught... - JMatt
Courtney Brown...came out of his shell with an interception AND a blocked FG!! - Heath
Mr. Al Lerner- brought the team back to Cleveland and we give him a classic nail biter in the good ol' fashioned Browns tradition. He deserves the ultimate game ball for everything he did for the Browns!!!!! - Tim O
A gameball for Tim Couch --- uncommon valor and courage---- standing behind that line without a running game. - Peter M.
Phil Dawson: John Hall (Jets kicker) couldn't kick from that cow manure pasture of a field at the Meadowlands. Phil must've been a farm-boy! - Yogi
Tim Couch- We finally saw in the 2nd half what Tim can do when he has time in the pocket. Did not force a single throw in that half, hell, didnt even go downfield, just straight up picked them apart. - John K.
Butch Davis- When I saw the interview w/ him before they started the second half I had a feeling this team was going to come back and win it. He as well as the team came out fired up and pissed off. A coach is usually blamed for the loss and never gets credit for the win. Well this time I think alot of credit has to be given to Butch. - Browns Beer
Earl Little - two drive-ending, score-preventing plays (fumble, INT). You've redeemed yourself in my eyes for any problems you had before. Way to step up in a defensive secondary that's been ravaged. - Phil S.
My game ball goes to Mark Campbell! FINALLY a Tight End sighting in a Browns Game! - PhillyDawg
Coaching Staff-finally going with what is working for them, in order to win the game, and putting the ball in Couch's hands and letting him win the game. - Eric S
Alfred Lerner, without him we would have been doing honey do's yesterday - Matye
Phil Dawson- Once again clutch throughout the game. What can you say? The guy is a great kicker! - DXDawg
Dennis Northcutt great hands and concentration and only bad turf at the Meadowlands prevented him from getting to the endzone early in the game. - Matt W.
Dennis Northcutt: I just got two questions: 1. When will they sell 86 jerseys? 2. When will Dennis get to start? When lord, when is it gonna be his turn? - TobesWSU
Any fan who posted messages at halftime that said how bad we "sucked" and how bad Tim was. - JMatt
Vinny Testaverde...why? To quote Bluto from Animal House, "Why not?!" - Heath
