WEDS: Help the Browns Help Schoolkids

If you're in Berea on Wednesday, you can help the Browns do some good for kids. This is a great idea, and something I think all of us can heartily endorse. If you're heading to camp on Wednesday (and you know you should), bring something along for this...

The Browns are hosting a school supply drive at Training Camp on Wednesday July 30.

Fans are encouraged help Shoes and Clothes for Kids "Stuff the Bus" with NEW school supplies, shoes, clothing and monetary donations. A school bus will be parked at the main entrance of Training Camp from 7:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on July 30th to accept donations.

An actual bus will be parked at the main entrance of Training Camp for fans to fill with supplies. The Cleveland Browns organization and players value education and wanted to help kids get back to school with items they need.

Over 100 kids will be at Training Camp as special guests in the Community Corner who represent kids in need who receive assistance from Shoes & Clothes for Kids.

At Training Camp, kids will receive backpacks filled with school supplies, in addition to Gift Cards to purchase athletic shoes.

Kids will pick out their favorite backpack that is filled with supplies, and a gift card to buy athletic shoes; in addition to Cleveland Browns folder, pencil and ruler.

The Cleveland Browns are sponsors of the Back to School campaign. Through the Cleveland Browns financial assistance, 6,300 gift cards will be distributed for kids to purchase athletic shoes for back to school.

The gift cards are provided as part of the Browns' focus to keep children active and healthy.

Browns Linebacker Shaun Smith is committed to helping children in need and will be helping with the backpack giveaway.
