Browns Make Roster Moves

Bottom-end roster reconstruction continues as Browns swap one offensive lineman for another.

The Cleveland Browns have waived OL Cliff Louis and have signed OL Jonathan Palmer, the club announced today.

Palmer, 6-4 and 336 lbs., was waived by the New York Giants on Aug. 11. Last season, Palmer was with Philadelphia in training camp and spent two weeks on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. Palmer was a versatile lineman at Auburn and played the tackle, guard and center positions.
