QB Brad Johnson to Practice Friday

August 2 - After missing the first four days of training camp with a right knee laceration, Bucs' QB Brad Johnson will practice with the team for the first time in training camp on Friday morning.

New Bucs' QB Brad Johnson will make his debut at quarterback at the University of Tampa's Pepin-Rood Stadium on Friday morning.

Johnson had to miss the first four days of training camp after he cut his leg open while moving items in his house.

Johnson received 15 stitches and had to wait for them to disolve before practicing with the team.

Although Johnson will be participating in tomorrow morning's practice, head coach Tony Dungy said his action will be limited.

Johnson will participate in individual drills, but will not see action in team drills.

The Buccaneers will hold two practices on Friday. The morning session will be pads and will be helf from 8:30-10:30 a.m., while the afternoon practice will only be shells and will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
