DE Marcus Jones Sidelined With Hamstring Injury

August- 17 Buccaneers' starting DE Marcus Jones suffered a right hamstring strain in Thursday's practice, which will keep him sidelined for at least Satuday night's game against Cleveland.

The Buccaneers just can't seem to get a break on the injury front. But perhaps the Bucs would rather the wrath of strains and pulls they have suffered instead of breaks.

Tampa Bay DE Marcus Jones suffered a right hamstring strain in practice on Thursday and is expected to miss a week, maybe two.

Head coach Tony Dungy and his staff have listed Jones as questionable for Satuday night's game against Cleveland, but he is expected to sit out of that game.

Jones is the ninth player to suffer a hamstring injury in training camp. Defensive end Steve White, who was the team's starter at right defensive end in 1999, will start at the left side in place of Jones against the Browns.
