Both McLaughlin and Parrish were released on Friday after the two players reached injury settlements.
McLaughlin, who the Buccaneers drafted out of the University of California in the fifth round of the 1999 draft, suffered a right hip fracture on August 8. McLaughlin was a special team's standout with the Buccaneers in the rookie season, but was slowed by injuries last season.
Parrish, who was in his second camp with the Buccaneers, suffered an abdominal hernia in training camp.
Both of these players are no longer with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but will be free to sign on with another team after the 10th week of the season.
The Buccaneers now have 85 players on their roster. The first cutdown to 65 players will occur on August 26.
