Tampa Bay's first-string offense finally got into a groove against the New England Patriots in a 20-3 victory at Raymond James Stadium. The starting offense was powered in part by running back Warrick Dunn, who is this week's Pewter Player of the Game after rushing for 115 yards on 12 carries as the first-stringers saw their most extensive playing time in preseason, participating well into the third quarter.

Dunn set a franchise preseason record for the most rushing yards with his 115 yards, which produced a whopping 9.6-yard average. Two first half runs comprised most of his yardage as he galloped 35 yards on a stretch play he broke back towards the middle of the field, and took a counter play in which he found daylight down the right sideline, racing for 56 yards before being forced out of bounds by Patriots rookie cornerback Leonard Myers at the New England 6.

Dunn also chipped in two catches for six yards.

Although Dunn didn't get in the end zone and left the scoring to QBs Brad Johnson and Shaun King this night, his mad dashes were of highlight quality and woke up the dormant Bucs' offense.
