When the Bucs went out this off-season and signed defensive end Michael Johnson, the hope was that he and Gerald McCoy would form a force against opposing quarterbacks. Johnson could come up big against the Ravens on Sunday.
The Ravens will be without their All Pro left tackle Eugene Monroe, who's nursing an injured knee. With Monroe out, undrafted rookie James Hurst. During the draft process, I felt Hurst would be better suited at guard in the NFL, but now he gets the start at left tackle.
Michael Johnson has just 2 sacks this year, but has been getting better with each game as he continues to get healthy from a nagging ankle injury. Against an undrafted rookie, Johnson could be in for a game where he dominates.
