Bucs Receiving Calls About Doug Martin

For a team that is at least talking as if they are still in the running to win the NFC South, the Buccaneers sure seem like they might be big time "sellers" at the trade deadline.

For a team that is at least talking as if they are still in the running to win the NFC South, the Buccaneers sure seem like they might be big time "sellers" at the trade deadline.

After initial reports linked the Bucs to receiving a ton of interest in WR Vincent Jackson, now the Bucs might be ready to part ways with RB Doug Martin.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Bucs have been receiving calls about their 2012 1st round draft pick.

Doug Martin has struggled since his rookie season. He has yet to run for more than 50 yards in a game in 2014. With Charles Sims set to return from injured reserve soon, Martin has become expendable.

The Patriots seem like a logical partner with their need at running back and their connections with the Bucs. Other teams that might be interested in Doug Martin could be the Raiders, Bills, and Ravens.

The Bucs would probably only be able to fetch a 4th or 5th round pick in return for Doug Martin.
