With the trade deadline approaching today, rumors continue to swirl around the Bucs. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network , Vincent Jackson continues to draw the most interest.
"They (Eagles and Seahawks) are making calls, and I'm told they are not alone, Rapoport said. "The name to focus on for the trade deadline: Vincent Jackson. He is, from what I understand, generating more phone calls than anyone.
No one knows what the Bucs are asking for if they decide to trade their number one receiver but Rapoport says the Bucs might be willing to come down from their initial demand of a second round pick.
"From what I understand, the Bucs would be willing to trade Vincent Jackson -- who's making $10 million this year and set to make as much next year -- for the right price, Rapoport continued. "So what would that be? A second-round pick. If one of those teams is willing to offer a second-round pick, I would think this trade gets done. (The Bucs) might actually take a third, too."
Other names to keep a close eye on as the trade deadline nears are Doug MArtin and Mark Barron. Both are receiving heavy interest according to reports, and both could be traded on Tuesday as well.
When your team is 1-6, changes are inevitable. Whether the Bucs start now with the rebuilding process or wait till after the season, changes will be made.
