Bucs' Injury Update

August 29 – Tampa Bay will head to Atlanta to play the Falcons in their preseason finale on Friday night, but several Bucs' players are banged up, including Pro Bowl K Martin Gramatica and QB Ryan Leaf. Buccaneer Magazine has the latest news on the Bucs' injury front.

INJURY NOTES Starting DE Marcus Jones returned to practice after being sidelined two weeks with a strained hamstring. Although he believes he will play against Atlanta on Friday night, head coach Tony Dungy still has some questions and concerns about Jones' health. Jones is expected to be a game time decision.

Meanwhile, QB Ryan Leaf was added to the injury list on Wednesday afternoon after suffering a sprained right wrist. The severity of his wrist sprain is not yet known, but Buccaneers should announce what they are going to list Leaf as for the Atlanta game sometime tomorrow.

Pro Bowl FB Mike Alstott's hamstring has been holding up just fine in practice and today, he participated in team drills. The team says the A-Train will play about 15 snaps on Friday against Atlanta.
