I don't know about you, but I'm tired of meaningless insignificant games for the Bucs late in the season. I'm tired of rooting for them to lose to get a better draft pick. I'm really tired of them looking inferior to their opponent on a weekly basis. I hate that the Buccaneers are irrelevant. Unfortunately, this is the only national press the Bucs get.
Peter King in his weekly Monday Morning QB column this week had one line about the Bucs that sums up the Bucs entire season.
"Finally, the Bucs need Marcus Mariota. Desperately. But they also need an offensive identity. That was a minor-league showing against Green Bay."
I'm not sure I'm with Peter King in saying the Bucs need Marcus Mariota. I'm still on the side of getting either Mariota or Jameis Winston, but we all agree the Bucs need a quarterback, an offensive coordinator, and some sort of an identity for their offense and their team. Then, and only then, will they become relevant again.
