Warren Sapp Arrested; Fired by NFL Network

According to TMZ, NFL Network analyst and former Buccaneer Warren Sapp was arrested early Monday morning in Arizona for solicitation of prostitution and assault.

According to TMZ, NFL Network analyst and former Buccaneer Warren Sapp was arrested early Monday morning in Arizona for solicitation of prostitution and assault.

“We were contacted by the Phoenix Police Dept. today in a matter involving a guest,” a representative for the unnamed hotel told TMZ. “We are cooperating with police as they look into the situation since it is an active investigation. We have no further comment."

Warren Sapp was was also suspended indefinitely from his duties with the NFL Network without pay. As TMZ also points out, Sapp's bio has been removed from NFL.com as well.

UPDATE: According to Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated, Sapp has been terminated from the NFL Network.

Sapp was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Buccaneers Ring of Honor in 2013.
