We've seen specific players be the center of attention at the combine, but none might have as much significance to Bucs fans as Jameis Winston does. He will be the focal point of the entire combine from the media to the teams to the fans watching.
Most prospects that go to the combine need to perform well on the field and in the meeting rooms. For Jameis Winston, the entire combine is an evaluation. He has to handle the media well, perform well on the field, answer all of the questions honestly when meeting with teams, and do it all with a positive attitude.

Fox Sports' College Football Analyst and NFL Network Draft Analyst Charles Davis was kind enough to explain to readers of BucsBlitz.com what this combine will be like for Jameis Winston.
"This will be the most important professional week of his athletic life. Every movement, sentence, utterance, exhibits of body language will be parsed within an inch of it’s life. The phrase “All eyes on me,” will be a living reality for him. Personality wise, he seems equipped to handle it. The biggest of all will be his private meetings with teams…he will get grilled by each about past issues, and they will all believe that they already KNOW what happened in each case, so they will be evaluating him on how straight forward and open he is with them. He will be the absolute focus of this Combine…similar to Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel, Manti Te’O, etc. Those top level players that also have controversy about them…they are the Show!"
Winston is still 50/50 on whether he'll participate in on-field throwing drills. I'm sure people who use Jameis as a target will make a big deal if he decides not to throw, but the fact is that he doesn't need to. Winston's attitude and answers to tough questions are more important than if he can throw a deep out. Winston's film in a pro-style offense tells NFL executives everything they need to know about how talented he is on the field.
