Commish Podcast: The Ron Jaworski Rebuttal

Ron Jaworski made a bold statement saying the Bucs are drafting Marcus Mariota first overall. But coworkers Herm Edwards and Adam Schefter discredit his report.

ESPN's Ron Jaworski made headlines when he so boldly said that his sources have told him the Bucs are drafting Oregon's Marcus Mariota first overall. Many folks ran with the report but a good majority discredited it quickly. Add his fellow coworkers to that least.

Per Adam Shefter, his folks from around the league have told him that the Bucs are taking Florida State's Jameis Winston with the No. 1 pick, adding that nothing has changed (something that I have often said on Twitter today). Also discrediting Jaworski is ESPN analyst Herman Edwards who we all know as a close friend to Lovie Smith. Edwards simply said, "They are drafting Winston".

The nugget in the video is when ESPN's Jay Crawford pointed to Edwards and said, "And you know Lovie." Edwards replied,"I'm just saying."
